The territory’s official flower since 1934. This fragrant yellow trumpet shaped flower grows in clusters adorning a small tree commonly referred to as yellow cedar or ginger thomas. When there is an abundance of rain, this tree is very showy, transforming the green hillsides to a field of yellow flowers with flitting butterflies.
