Acclaimed as one of the top ten beaches in the world, stretches nearly 3/4 of a mile nestled in a protective nook. In 1946 Wall Street financier, Arthur S. Fairchild, donated 46 acres of land to the VI government. He specifically stated his desire that Magens Bay should be “maintained as a public park (with its natural beauty preserved) for use by the people of the Virgin Islands in perpetuity without discrimination of any kind as to race, creed, color, or national origin.”
